Fijian Bat Coin Uncirculated 10 cent coin featuring the Beka-Mirimiri, (Fiji Flying Fox) which is one of the world’s rarest mammals. It has only ever been recorded for certain on three occasions – most recently in 2009 and on all occasions in the upland cloud forests of Taveuni, at elevations near or higher than 1,000 meters. Because of its rarity, nothing is known of its behavior and ecology.
